What do Partner Districts get from participation in the Jennings Initiative?

• Intensive support to develop a best practice strategic plan for implementing the English Language Arts and/or Mathematics Standards within the district's CIP.
• Access to regional and national expertise and resources to support planning and implementation of the academic content standards aimed at improving student performance on aligned diagnostic tests.
• Professional development, sustained technical assistance and financial resources to help districts develop and manage key school, community and parent partnerships that are essential for improving students' achievement and aligning parent and community resources in active support of schools' instructional programs.
• Support for far reaching parent training to prepare parents as partners for students' achievement of the academic content standards
• Startup Stipends of at least $5000 per district.
