Parent Involvement Certificate Program

Collaboration with key education stakeholders in Ohio to develop a teacher-specific Parent Involvement Certificate Program. It is imperative to provide all educational stakeholders the resources necessary to optimize children’s success.

• The focus of this initiative is to design a certificate program that will provide support that will be aligned with current licensure, entry-level teacher requirements, curriculum within the teacher preparation programs, and professional development requirements of teachers currently working in the field.

• The format of this program includes the development of 45-50 minute modules on each of the six parent involvement standards. There may be multiple modules for each standard to meet the varying levels of education, These modules may be completed individually or grouped together dependent upon the available time frame.
