• Program seeks to recognize a small number of diverse, growth-oriented middle level schools to demonstrate what all middle level schools are capable of achieving.
• Ohio’s young adolescent students deserve great schools that are continuously striving to be their best.
• Ohio Schools to Watch demonstrate a passion for academics, meeting student needs, and are inclusive and socially equitable centers of learning.
• The National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform believes that youth in the middle grades are capable of learning and achieving at high levels.
• Forum members share a sense of urgency that high-performing middle-grades schools become the norm, not the exception.
